Nutrient unit defines a unit that can be assigned to nutrient type(s).

Detail tab displays selected nutrient unit info.

Create / Edit

Edit tab allows to modify selected nutrient unit.

• Nutrient unit ID - Unique numerical ID

• Description - Nutrient unit description

• Symbol - Nutrient unit symbol

Nutrient units are used widely throughout food composition system, so make sure that no food or nutrient table is using the nutrient unit.
