Nutrient type is nutrient record definition within food composition table.

Detail

Detail tab displays selected nutrient type info.

Create / Edit

Edit tab allows to modify selected nutrient type.

• Nutrient type ID - Unique numerical ID

• Description - Nutrient type description

• Nutrient unit - Select existing nutrient unit record

• KCal per unit - KCal per unit

Deletion

WARNING

Nutrient units are used widely throughout food composition system, so make sure that no food or nutrient table is using the nutrient type.
